snowmobiling over xmas with some friends from Miami with this tour and the owner

Just a note to let any of my old IPWG friends know that the old dog, (74) is
still alive and well, now in Montana. I live on a golf course, (Still cannot
break 100)hopfully one day I'll learn."Big Mountain" Ski resort is 22 miles
away, they report 300" of snow annually, and good runs. Also Glacier National
Park is 35 miles from here, with Canada 20 more miles. So there is a lot going

I have to agree with Heiko. Davos wasn't the best site for a bunch of cops to go spend a week long vacation...It was to expensive. It may be a sponsor problem, but you also didn't get very much for what you paid in registration fees. I know several people who didn't register because getting one dinner simply wasn't worth the $50 guest fee and the $100+ entry fee didn't get you much either. I came prepared to enter the ski competition but didn't want to pay that much money for an entry fee and what amounted to one dinner. The Innsbruck games were great. The cost of entertainment was very reasonable and your registration fees got you several meals and into several events such as a well organized opening and closing ceremony

I find it very unfortunate that there will not be an IPWG this year. If there is any chance to change your mind please do so. I'm very sorry to read about the cancellation of the 2005's event. May be one problem on 2004's Winter Games was the price of accomodation. Davos is really expensive, it's not the place, where you can spend a week as a german crime investigator. Same problem is a trip to northern america for us. I'm very proud, that I've participated the 1998 events in Innsbruck/Austria. It was effordable and a really good organisation from the cops of Austria. Best wishes to you all and if you want to change anything, then have a look at the events of Innsbruck and as well Whistler Mountain/Canada. Low cost and big fun!
